The career of Abderraouf Ouertani begins with the discovery of the luth in Tunisia when he was a child. To seek new horizons, he moves to Paris in 2008. He studies ethnomusicology.
Since 2013, he participated with his quartet to many concerts in Paris and Tunis among which the Jazz In Carthage festival in Tunisia and the inauguration of the French Institute new cultral area in Tunis.
